I’m Andrea Tringali and I was born in Catania. I am a great lover of Sicilian cuisine, always looking for all those excellent products that our region can offer. Since I was a child I have been growing this passion - thanks to my father- going to “magic places” such as local markets, fish markets and all those typical, old restaurant (“trattoria”), where you can eat home-made food. This passion has been growing spontaneously, becoming stronger and stronger and never letting me go. This love for good food first lead me to start working at a fresh pasta laboratory, to “get my hands dirty”, while later I started working in the world of catering and hospitality, in 4/5 star receptive structures.
So, if you have been reading all my story, you will easily understand why my vision of food matches well with Foodiesemu philosophy, which deeply believes, as a sort of “mission”, in research, knowledge and later in spreading of culinary excellences. Therefore, becoming a Foodiesemu Ambassador is, accordino to me, a natural evolution and a personal growth, a continuation of my way towards the constant persuit of what is really “good”.
